Well, I managed to snap my last scapel blade, but did sort out some marines for the full Dev Mk6 company plus character stands and both types of transport.

And more importantly cleared out shed and part of loft :)

Well, it's nearly midnight. I got a very late start (~9PM) - my SO worked all day and then had the evening off (she get's oh so few...). Since it is night time, I had planned to clean, clean, clean.

I got the four Wombat II's cleaned up. Quite clean models, but a few tricky mold lines that take a while if you don't want to lose any of the surrounding detail.

Next up were the NSL "regular" infantry. Even cleaner than the vehicles. Flash that only needed a fingernail to peel off and a bit of filing on helmets, shoulders and legs. Thirty-two troops reporting for priming!

Lastly I managed to clean up twelve (of eighteen) of the NSL powered armour. The hardest part was the flash between the legs. Sorry little men - nobody likes razor sharp knives down there

I probably would have gotten the NSL J?gers and aliens done as well, but I was in front of the computer watching  Battlestar Galactica, and every half our or so checking the state of my Urban Dead character.

Well, I'm off to bed. Hopefully I can get some priming done tomorrow. I might not, as we have a pretty full schedule (taking the kids swimming and having people over for a BBQ in the afternoon). Attached is a picture of my evenings work!

Well, the main day of this is done for me. My output was:

- finished undercoating the eight bases of DRM Andrayada, and decided on a paint scehem for them. Not too bad, but I had done half before today.

- half assembled four Necron Warriors (my wife came home one day with a gift of a large GW carry case with foam trays, and the Necron Battleforce (I think, 20 Warriors and 4 Destroyers)... and she cooks too!).

Not a huge output, but it is good to have the Andrayada ready for a base coat and things should get faster now. I hope to get more done this weekend, after I finish some outstanding work. That is the best thing about these days, they re-motivate me.

I'm jealous... I really want to buy some DRM, but my budget is really limited right now and I have too many other things that I need to take care of on my plate.

I'm so happy for you that your marriage has been such a happy one!

I've got some projects I need to take care of myself...

Looks good. I know sometimes the cleaning can take a while.

I see you went with two standard and two AT Wombats. Nice combo!

Look forward to seeing you next efforts.

Enjoy the BBQ!

I sometimes wonder who, you or I , have more open ended projects.

I know who finishes more, you.  :;):

Well, my 9th june didn't really happen - too much commission work to do. Got an hour or so in.

But my 10th Kinda did!
I had said I'd work on some epic, but I've been slacking on my FoW Soviets for some time & decided to get back into the swing of things with them. Combined with a couple of hours squeezed in amoingst work on my Birthday (8th), I've not done too bad.

Output in the last few days:
Clean up & assembly of 3 Shturmovik "Flying Tank" aircraft.
Included making 6 new MGs for the wing mounts on each plane using plastic rod. They're going to have to be replaced again with metal rod - i've already broken two!
made 3 flying bases for the above using AOL CDs, Milliput and plastic rod.
Drilled a 2mm x 8mm hole out of my finger whilst meant to be drilling out holes in underside of planes.. that was fun...
Cleaned up, assembled & undercoated 2 85mm AA guns, crew & artillery company command teams & observers.
Painted 80% of 2 Sapper Platoons (40 men)
Painted 80% of an AT Rifle platoon (12 men)
Finally photographed all the completed elements of my Tankovy Bataljon - I'd forgotten I'd not put them on my site In January when I meant to!

So, overall, FAR too much time that should have been spent working on other people's models, but I'm still 2 months or so behind on my supposed 5500point target for the new year!

The Pics I took of the Completed elements will be on my site In the next update. The Project day output will be added later when I complete the details on them.

Thanks for jump starting the Soviet War effort once again :D :blues:

Wow - spectacular, Tuffskull! :D
Another not-quite-a-day-of-painting, but:
17 stands of Andrayads undercoated.
All Velites and Vergers (12) cleaned up and undercoated.
A CLASSIFIED project for Gothicomp (a second one) undercoated.

Hi,

I didn't get a lot done today. A few buildings glued together this morning and a few stands of Greeks basecoated. It's been really humid here, and that combined with the footie on TV has kept me away from my painting desk. I'll try to be a bit more productive tomorrow, it's supposed to be cooler weather, so I should be more in the mood.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

V, best get along and finish something VSF before you find yourself in hot water.  :;):

I just had about twenty minutes of time today (as I expected) and just primed up what I cleaned last night. Tomorrow I hope to find the time to get the airbrush out and spray on a base coat onto the figures. We'll see... ???
