I also forgot to mention that I went with my friend Vince to a Dirtside II game last weekend in Fresno using Epic minis...
Vince has made Epic minis (SMs and Orks) into DS-II forces.

It's good to hear from you too.
Power Projection has some serious design problems. I recommend Full thrust as a better alternative.
The best part of the game is seeing my friend Glenn's very cool homebrew-fleet (X-acto box cutter knives as battleships, big pencils turned into cruisers, Odd mechanical bitz turned into destroyers, etc. as well as many actual minis.).

Where can you get the rules for Full Thrust?
