I should get some more Reavers as I only have four of them. With the current prices it'll be slow going unless I hit some ebay motherload.

Quote (primarch @ 03 2004 Dec.,05:22) | Hi!
I think you are right Magnus. All three reavers have exactly the same weapons.
In any case I dont mind copies as long as they look good.
These look good.
Primarch |
The problem is, Primarch, those are the only weapons in the New one. So the fact they all have the same weapons *could* be because he is selling off new casts from SG. ?
Note also they have the shorter leg pins of the newer SG Reavers.
I won an auction from him and if they are recasts, he is VERY good. The quality and crispness of details matched the one I bought from SG directly.

Primarch | To be honest, if they are not recasts, I would like to know how he is buying so much cheap enough though.
I wondered if he was a rogue GW employee.

I still think he's recasting. Selling loads of the same crisp-looking minis over and over again without any blister in sight is a dead giveaway....

I know for a fact he has been reported to GW. So ....
My money is on an employee is his source of supply. There would be no blisters if he was buying by the pound like employee can.

Hi!
Not necessarily Dafrca. GW cannot persue every such complaint without proof. IF they were to prosecute and indeed the guy is "legit" they could have a juicy defamation lawsuit on their hands.
They could however "bid" on one of his auction, obtain the miniature and see if its really a copy.
Then he'd be in deep doo-doo.

The reason I know they have everything they need is one of the locals loves catching recasters. He has won an auction from this person, sent to the GW legal rep the mini, the contact info etc. That was over two months ago. The fact they are still allowing him to continue seems to indicate they were unsure of the recasting enough to allow him to continue. I am sure they could have killed the auctions ( they kill enough already) and asked him for proof if they believed it was a recast.

PS, he is doing more then just Epic, he is doing 40k and they are much more "protective" of the 40k brand.
