Well, the E-A rules haven't arrived yet, so scratch one. I haven't started the Squat Brotherhood.
I have finished My marshal and my emperor's champion and started a dreadnought so n:o 3 is progressing. Eldar army hasn't been started and I haven't painted a single stand of IG, but I did buy enough Forge World Basilisks and archive Bombards to make another artillery company.
I definitely don't paint half as well as master artificer Tuffskull so that's one more broken promise...

Quote (Tas @ 29 2004 Jan.,02:34) | So gentlemen- how are we going with our resolutions? ?Almost one month into 2004 now.... |
I'm pleased to say I'm 2 for 2 also.
1. I'm still alive (at least I think I am...... I'll check tomorrow...)
2. I'm am honestly the happiest & most relaxed I've been in years. If you dont believe me: No company & no gf = no stress (with full respect to her of course... she never caused me stress... honest....well...). Lots of painting work & lots of it on stuff I enjoy working on (ie epic!) = Enough cash coming in to get by, but not enough to get caught up in it = I still have enough time to enjoy the little extra cash I have = perfect. Loads of trips planned to visit mates at uni & a skiing holiday planned for the end of Feb = lots to look forward too.
Life is good ? ? ?

Life is good ? ? ? | Good for you Tuffskull.
I'm not even trying to flip back a couple of pages to see what my resolutions were - this way it hurts less. But ALL modelling projects are going at a miserably slow speed (finished off a Wraithlord for the diary - pix later), half the original plans for armies etc. have gone astray (WHFB back to Chaos, no new army; BFG at a standstill; WH40K SMs progressing practically - no, literally - in reverse: one of the cats demolished a couple of devastators yesterday; and I'm tempted, by the arrival of the rule book, to start work on epic SMs too). As for the rest - I'm overloaded with work and know that worse is yet to come, and I'm still chasing insurances to get the cement truck owner who devastated the port side of my car to pay, and the univ is strapped for research cash, and I've got a half dozen deadlines to manage, and ....
Oh bugger all, I'm alive and so's the wife (and the cats), I've still got loads of models to paint, and I've been promoted to Master of the Forge. I guess I'm king of the world.....hmmmm... are there any liners in BFG?

Quote (CyberShadow @ 03 2004 Jan.,12:56) | I have one resolution really, to get more focussed. I seem to run around a lot and not get much done, when I should concentrate on one thing until it is completed. | Oh yes, now I remember... Well, yes, I guess that I am holding to this one. I have actually painted more GW (not just comparing Epic) in the last three months than I previously had in about two years! I am clearing the deadlines that vanvlak knows too well one at a time, and not getting hung up on things and trying to remind myself what is important. I am even considering selling a few important things to me in EBay to raise funds for a future venture.
Tuff, great to know things are good, particularly with respect to resolution number one! If you find yourself in my area, just let me know.

When you say things like that Primarch, I always wish I could paint better, I could make a fortune!

Hi!
Not really Chris. I'm a cheap slug and usually get paintes who are EXTREMELY affordable.
