Many Thanks Guys ! My Crew and I went to see the new LoTR movie (just Great !) last night and then visited our favorite Brew Haus (BW3's) for wings, O'Duals, etc., etc. ! Overall a good time !

Doh - no one can see LOTR with me! They either 'don't do cinemas', 'don't do action movies' or live too far away for me to make the effort to pick 'em up.
Situation approaching critical - gonna have to go with the lads if my charisma checks continue to roll so low

My boss'es girlfriend said the same thing!
But what am I going to do with my tapes? ?
Well once my VCRs crash, I'll have to go DVD!
And Tom, if no one wants to go... go yourself! ?
It's too good to miss!

I didnt like RotK as much as part two, but the battle scenes are great (I did lose interest in the damn Hobbits and jewelry rigth at the start of the movie though). Oh, and the end DRAGS ON way too long. Still, worth seeing.

The ending of the LOTR is Supposed to be slow. If you remember, the book was the same way. It just seems slower on the big screen.

Well I have seen RotK twice now and think it's amazing, and probably will see it again!
It does kinda get slow towards the end, but the rest of the film is amazing!
Cheers
Chris

Hi!
The "slowness" at the end of such an epic is appropriate I think, sorta lets you wind down from all the excitement.

As soon as they release the extended dvd next year, I'm going to have a LOTR party and watch all the extended movies back to back to back....all twelve hours worth!!
