Good to hear it worked out all right for everyone, thrust wise.

And regards to customs. It's not as if they double check every small package. Sometimes they go through, sometimes they are checked. It's a bit of a lottery.

I can't see any problem here at all with Daves side of the trade.

The real message here to traders is to make clear when trading what your expectations are.  You can't make assumptions that everyone goes about things in the same way as you do.

I have never had a single item sent to me stopped by customs for extra charges.  As such if I send something my normal assumption will be to put the most accurate estimate of the price on it.  If I ever happened to get charged by customs I certainly wouldn't consider this to be a problem with the person I was trading with just bad luck.  If in your case you live in a country where this is a problem that happens all the time then you should make it a condition of the trade that they mark the items in the way you want.

If I trade with someone I am not sure about I don't leave feedback until the trade has concluded successfully.  Someone can prove to be a horribly bad trader even when they have sent the stuff.

You expressed concern that someone else was showing you a lack of trust and taking that to be an insult but then show a lack of trust yourself by looking for sinister motives in every aspect of the trade.

This now appears to be resolved, and I have added a brief note regarding import duty to the trade notes threads. Therefore, I will close this thread now.

Thanks.
