Using Torquemada's name for GW's Inquisition is in pretty bad taste. Torquemada murdred hundreds upon hundreds of people if not thousands or more. Very likely, Torquemada murdered many of my relatives. For me, seeing Torquemada's name is like seeing Hitler's name. Almost as if they think they are the only ones who will know the names and places. ? Sounds amazing by the very description. With regards to GW and historican/mythological names: Yeah, it's getting a bit silly. I don't have much of a problem with people using names like Torquemada, or even Stalin or Hitler. After all these are from times long gone and doesn't have impact on my life. However I understand how it might ofend some people and I really think it's bad taste to profit from using these names by trademarking them. "Hey, buy the new Charles Manson Doll! I can understand what you are saying, but some of us come from cultures with institutional memories like Jews in my case. After all these are from times long gone and doesn't have impact on my life.

Those times weren't so long ago and knowing that your relatives died under subhuman undignified conditions does have an impact on our lives.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad at you, but I wanted you to understand.

And the worst of it is that while I have a thick skin, I don't have much of a choice as to whether to find it offensive or not. It is simply stinky to me, beyond a cognitive level. My "spider sense" for wrong simply tingles when I hear those names... even in context (No dogs named Adolf for me... ).
