I played around with the Monster Island rules with my brother this weekend, had alot of fun. A friend of mine is a miniatures nut, just buys things for the minis, and let me use his King Ghidorah, Rodan, Mechagodzilla, and 3 different Godzilla models! Now all I need is for my copy of Escape! from Monster Island to show up so I can use some tanks against them! Whoop!

I think it?s a great fun series of rules. Escape! Is a very good supp, as is Invasion! Maksim and I were having a chat in his blog thread about them, and the ?Giant Monster Rampage? rules by Majestic Eye Games
I just got the 6 Raging Godzilla Action Fig set which has Original Godzilla, 90s remake Godzilla, American Godzilla (from the Broderick Film) and Mechagodzilla in addition to 2 other Kaiju. Still looking for the Rodan and Ghidora though?.

You've given me an idea... I think I'll order Saurian Safari and start the converting from there as a certain boy is currently in the "Dinosaurs & Pirates" phase...

I heartily recommend them, though they are very simplistic and I have my own ideas about some additions and campaign rules.
Pirates too? ?Well indeed! My next planned game will be "Mody Rex" aka Hunt for the Great White Saurian - inclduign a riverboat (with mounted Hotchkiss Gun), Cpatin Ahb, Mr Starbcuk and a certain dark skinned harpooneer...
It will go way, way over the kids' heads, but I'll be most amused and I know they'll have fun regardless! ?
And there is something so very right about returning to playing on the floor...

The only issue we had with the floor was you had to be very careful where you walked when you went to get snacks.

Well, you have to be careful with EVERYTHING when playing with a 4 year old!

Maddy (She is 8 now) when she was six, liked to "hold" my little men. I loved when the plastic D&D guys came out. You should have seen her face when I allowed her to hold my Large Red Dragon. I was not worried because it was plastic and she could not hurt it in any way.

Hay TAS, check out this Auction on ebay. It would be good for the little four year old hands and the cost is low.
Just a thought.
