I'm not actually planning on painting every Squat mini right now, but I would like to paint all the metal minis and put a significant dent in the plastic minis.

OK, if I get to see a full Dark Eldar army I guess it'd only be fair for me to have to do Exodite/Knights.  I'll start inventorying the parts....I think I've managed to scrounge enough Slaanesh beast riders for the Exodites, and I'm only 2 Knights short IIRC.

Sorry that I have not posted progress for so long.  Zap was providing a lot of motivation and since he finished I have none left.  :;):

Seriously, I have had my non Epic projects going on (see the pic below).  Is it any wonder I get nothing done around here.  I was a human jungle gym for hours while I knelt on the floor cutting tiles.

Anyway, the feedback I got matched my own thoughts.  The pilot on the top of the Warbarque needed to go.  So I replaced him with some type of weapon.  Who knows how Corey is going to equip this thing, so I have put a generic turret made from the 40K Tomb Spyder weapon.  I'll equip it with a glowing green rod or crystal or maybe a pair of crystals.

The barrels for the gun were easy.  Polystyrene cut and glued into little drilled holes in the warbarque.

The landing gear was a challenge, however.  The 'feet' needed to look like landing gear, but making them to scale was a pain in the butt.  Thank God I bought the magnifier lamp, otherwise it would never have happened.  I tried taking a shot but it came out blurry.  At least you can see the scale of these things.

Here is a closeup.  I'm still not getting the crystal clear shots that many of you are getting.  Sorry folks.

Well, I just finished gluing my Harlequin Masque together, and once they're finished then I think I might actually do a NetEpic Dark Eldar army.  Not quite sure what I'm going to do for Raiders and Ravagers, but I have a cunning plan for Reavers.  Also have the Titans and Fighters covered.  Scourge, Grotesques and Warp Beasts also covered.  I have a huge batch of Banshees on the way so a full company of Wyches is a goer, and I think I have enough old Lasgun Guardians to do at last 2 detachments of Warriors.  Need to turn up some plastic Ork Dreadnoughts for my Talos.

Heh heh heh. You said 'rear'.

Aha! I see Smooth-On resin bottles.

Looks like it's coming together nicely.

Twisted man. :D

Yes, those are the Smooth On resin.  And some portion of their contents will be heading your way soon.  If I can get my car back from the mechanic at a reasonable hour, then perhaps tonight it shall be born. :blues: <-- Necron Smiley face

If this one turns out okay, I'll be making a second for myself.  I've got all the makings for a pair of them.  The gun turret is the only part I didn't cast or make from polystyrene.  I suppose I could cast that piece too, but I'm not sure I want to spend the effort.

Finally done.  The Warbarque is complete.  I was going to work on the Flayed Ones next but I realized I am short pieces for it, so...  Mission completion.
