Hi Everyone!
Who out there is planning on going to Gamesday 2003 in the UK? I want to go but would like to know someone who is going, no one I know wants to go!
So, Who wants to go? or
Who has got a ticket to go?
I know they don't go on general release till 31st May, but WD subscribers could have got tickets.
The highlight is the final battle for Eye Of Terror, with 20 (yes 20!!!) FW Warhound titans taking to the battlefield.
I've never been before, and would like to meet some of the Epic and BFG dudes while I am there!

I havent made any arrangements yet, but I will probably end up going. Wont be entering GD this year though.
We'l have to arrange a time to all meet up nearer the day.

As you two are going then I'll try and get a ticket this weekend when they go on general sale. I was expacting Tom (netepic) and Iain (CyberShadow) to be going. We will definetly have to arange to meet if we go. Do GW's usually have a coach going or something like that? I'll have to find out...

Yeah, most GW's have arrangements for coaches. How much they cost depends on where you're going from (It just occured to me - is that GW's ONLY pricing policy that follows some logical sense maybe?!?  )
I'd strongly advise against trying to drive up there. Parking is a nightmare.

I don't think I would have driven if I could drive! I need to phone my GW to see how much it would cost if they have a coach. Sheffield isn't too far from Bermingham, is it?

I wont be going, as I usually dont make the effort to get to the 'official' GW events. I like a little more variety in my cons. If people are going, I want to hear everything about it!

Too bad you guys were not on the West Coast of the USA. Then you could go to Games Day Los Angeles with me this coming Saturday. :-)

Dafrca, do you have a digi cam? If you do be sure to take loads and loads and loads of photos of what Fanatic and Forgeworld have to offer, BFG, Epic or otherwise.
Im sure if you want to CyberShadow will let you write a review of the Day for the site...

...Hehe, I seem to have a similar problem to you Chris, I have one person that might go with me - probably getting a coach from GW Ipswich, but this means we will need to get into Ipswich by at least 6:00 in the morning... As you might guess, the parents probably won't be inclined to get up so early and then drive 20 miles to get me there..... 
Anyway, I hope to be going, nothing certain, but with a bit of luck....

I havent made an announcement like this yet because of the fact that these boards are used by a number of sites... but I am always very happy to accept pictures and/or reports from conventions and the like. Stuff like this is always very appreciated. So, never let go of your camera! 
I am sure that the other two sites are also happy to accept this kind of submission.

Good News!!! I got my Games Day ticket today, along with a Coach ticket, so if you are going, I'll see you there!
My camera will be joining me as well as you Doug Hope to take loads of good pictures...
