Hi all, did anyone around ever play (or still plays) Gorkamorka? I never found anyone to play against, and it looked like being fun (well, ok, a green Necromunda on wheelz). Doesn't look likely it will ever reappear. Also - any Man o'War players? now that's one game I'd love to see again - it represented local interest in specialist games with BFG, Mordheim, Blood Bowl, and Necromunda.

I used to play Gorkamorka when it first came out. That summer a bunch of mates & me built an 8' square Mektown, complete with Orky hookers, graffiti and such. We played all summer. Then came the Autumn, and it was realised the garage we made it in was needed for a car & we had no way of storing it, so the whole thing had to be taken apart
I think one of my mates might still have it @Flat packed@ in his loft actually - I'll have to see whether its worth resurrecting all these years on!
It was a great fun game for a non-serious gamer. The oppertunity to convert & scratch build your gangs was one of my first outings into the worl of greenstuff

That's just it Tuff - it looked (and seems it was) fun! And it was, as you pointed out, a great opportunity for converting stuff.

It was, but it seemed to die a very quick death as did many of the "Splash" games at that point in GWs history. They're looking into incorporating it into the Necromunda system, but it appears that wont be for a good long time yet.
I have a complete spare set of the rules (rule book, "Da Uvver Book", 2 play references & a roster pad) which I was going to re-list on ebay, but if you're interested we can sort something out.

If you have the rulebook, then there is no reason you couldnt play with some epic sized vehicles - "pocket Gorkamorka"!

H iTuff, thanks, but I've got the lot safe at home! Tas - not a bad idea! With magnetic bases on a magnetic board, Gorka-travel-Morka.
