PPlayed a demo game of DoD which a group of EPIComms members worked on, it was pretty snazzy, no close combat, as unfortunately you tended to get shot if you tried to get that close. Especially as the UK army uses short ranged intense firepower to clear out its foes in it.

DoD? What's that?

DoD is a "work in slow progress", eg. a skirmish wargame developed by a few people, including netepic and yours truly. It's in very early playtesting stage at present.

Primarch,

How are the necrons Maksim?

The Necrons are rough but workable... the ruleset that is.

I'm hoping to preview my Necron force soon. The parts that are done look good!

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Just converting a Standard Bearer for my DA - the new rules make the Standard of Devastation sooo much better that it's a crime to not use it...  :p

The rules are refreshingly fast play too :), although you still need plenty of dice.

The emphasis is on the firefight, not the close combat.
