LOL, dont like the sound of the flocked suit much....

Sorry I didnt answer your questions earlier Tom, I swear your replies didnt show up when I went to post the sorceress URL!?!

I usually use Dark Flesh on my (agri / mud / grass) bases. But then, I use dark flesh for almost everything.... (Browns, reds, oranges, Golds, bronzes, sometimes even flesh.....)

Anyway, at risk of sounding like a running Advert for model train suppliers, I use Guagemaster Static grass if you're interested. (And its the same stuff I use on almost everything!)
GW stuff is just too yellow for my taste.
Again its a mix of colours, GM171 "Flock Summer Green" and GM172 "Flock Moorland green"

Handy hint (useful for all scatter mixes):
Mix the portions in a plastic freezer bag. It makes it easier to shake up the parts & get a good mix. Basic so far, but the real tip it to cut out the section of the flock's label that has the name & code on it & throw it inthe bag as well.

Maybe not as useful if you dont use much flock or any different mixtures, but it saves me a lot of time & money as I then always know what I need to top up supplies without having to rely on my grey matter & hope I end up with the right shades ?:oo

P.S. James /WI - I'll be getting back to mercenary Brush stuff tomorrow. Sorry its taken so long for a reply to your last email!  :{

No worries!

I know you said in another thread that you had been ill so I knew you would get back to me when you had the chance.

Work has meant that I have n't had the chance to do any painting myself although bidding on Epic stuff on ebay has kept me busy!!

Cheers

James

Dark flesh - is that the same as Dwarf Flesh? I am not up on my paints sorry :), would you then give it a chestnut wash or leave it as it is and flock it?

I have got my gaugemaster static grass so fingers crossed :), hopefully I will have a battle ready force in time for some huge games!

I know this is waaaay late, but I realised whilst I was out tonight & talking to some gaming mates that I lied completely - I've got an entire Epic IG army on my site shwon using the Peco flock & Guagemaster grass basing method, so simply to correct my mistake:
Commissioned IG
