I have taken pics of quite a few models of mine on Saturday, but they came out really f***** up. Maybe it's the fault of that no flash was used.

It does not matter, cause I need to fix them up. Currently only program that might do anything about this is MS Photo Editor, but as I manage to get the photos close to original color balance and stuff they get too light, and increasing contrast gets them too dark.

I need advice on other programs usable for this purpose and, if you can, advice on how to fix these photos right.

If you can get hold of Adobe Photoshop that is awesome for that kind of thing. I've had it make a nearly black picture come out looking pretty good.

My brother introduced it to me, he's a professional equine and sports photographer, and I was surprised how easy it is to make a photo good with it. All you really need to do is select Image/Adjustments/Auto Levels then Auto Contrast and Auto Colour. You can mess with these setting manually but the auto often works better then I can manage without putting a lot of time in.

I guess I'll have to get Photoshop...

Managed to roughly fix these pics, so they have colors more close to natural, but still...

Oh, and they are so messed up originally, that using auto balance feature in MS Photo Editor does only mess them up more.
