Hello!     Been a while since I've taken the time to pop round here.  I've been very, very busy with a lot distractions that have kept me from EPIC, and as an extension of this, my need to visit here.

Amongst them include:

- family life - we've moved to a bigger house up the road, my wife has started training as a midwife, we just don't seem to stop!
- dodgy illnesses - since my little boy started nursery he has been picking up any bug he comes to in to contact with, bringing it home - and kindly giving them to his daddy, the loving little boy he is!  So in the space of about 4 months I've had sickness bug twice, Pharyngitis, and now I'm currently off work again with Sinusitis.  Could be worse, it could be Swine Flu...
- 40k - that great Satan of gaming is a demanding mistress   I've been running a 40k campaign at my local gaming group, it finally ended last month; it's been a blast, but I've had to spend all my hobby time doing 40k miniatures and terrain.  I'm remedying this now by doing a BFG Fleet and starting to plan my entry for this year's EpiComp  :blues:
- Work - meh!  But in the current climate, I am thankful I still have a job (regardless how dull it may be)...

So, what have I missed in the world of EPIC?  I've been very grateful to continue receiving the EPIC UK newsletters, it's great to see that the EPIC community in this country is still as passionate as it ever has been.  If only I could get the chance to make one of the tournaments...  :oo:

I've not even wanted to visit the project logs here, because I know seeing everyone else's fantastic EPIC armies would make me sad that I've no chance to work on mine recently... I'll have to have a good browse and see what everyone's been doing.

Thanks for looking, see you on these forums!

Hey matey welcome back,

Did you see how EpicUK have a selection of their players' models on display in Warhammer World right now? That's awesome.

Welcome back FS,

The nurgling plagued my life when he was younger too.

Four tournaments left this year (if you include Britcon starting on Friday) so plenty of opportunity for you to make a break for it.

He asked what he's missed... that was going on before he "left"...   :vD

Welcome back!

I made molds of resin puddles, and used 3D CAD software to design a perfect cube! No boob jobs for Yen, though.

Oh, very well, a real answer.

I made some metal stuff (see http://s693.photobucket.com/albums/vv29 ... Otterware/).

I'm also in the process of making more metal stuff, which looks rather Kriegish.

Tom Webb of Exodus Wars is sweet-talking me into designing tanks for him.

Thanks for the warm welcome back lads :)

@ E&C - I haven't seen the display, but I'd heard about it - hope it gets some people interested in EPIC!  Though I must admit I'm surprised GW's management hasn't asked for it to go, after all it'll take up reams of space for all the displays they need to make people want to buy 40k Valkyries and Bastions... :glare:

@ Tiny Tim - glad i'm not the only one who's found this then!  :))   I've seen that there are some more trouneys happening, but alas I can't make them as they're either too far away, or over two days (difficult due to family commitments).

What we need is a one-day Epic tournament in the East of England somewhere.  Hmmmm, there's an idea...  :blues:

@ Real Chris & Chroma - has there ever been a time when the Tau and Tyranid lists HAVEN'T been in development?

@ Otterman - your new awesome metal creations created stirrings in a deep part of me that hasn't bought an 6mm stuff for too long (about 10 months)... les petites crabes en fer sont disponible toujours, j'espere?  Je veux les commander!!!  (Desolé, my French is trés rusty...)

@ Apcolocyntosis - I always made a point of commenting on EPIC logs on Warseer.  Nowadays, thanks to the kill-joy, sense of humour bereft moderators that run that place, I feel like posting there less and less...
