The ability to defend yourself against aircraft is vital.
I have nine Hydras total in a very large, all my major formations take them.

hydras are a must, the 'bolts can provide some cover but are prone to getting shot out the sky before they can interecpt... although 09 seems over kill...

Personally I'd drop the T-bolts altogether. Have a Shadowsword insead for some good TK ability or perhaps even a Warhound titan.

Looking much more rounded Fracas! Id still suggest that your a bit MW/TK light so you will have trouble against war engine heavy forces; it may be worth looking at deathstrikes or Shadow swords, but that could always be sideboarded into the next 1000 points.

In the next 1000 after that you should look at some roughriders, ground plodders (to hold ground) and some artillery.

i am probably going to keep the 3k list as is then.
what do you all recommend then for the next 1k to 4000 pts? titals? tank company?
