i agree totally.  if they released a modular hulk the same style as either the necromunda bulkheads or the new CoD stuff along with rules to support other races... i'd buy it!

I've no idea why they don't do a 6 month rotation of the 3rd game. In essence 6 months of the whole range on the shelves and 2 articles a month in WD, then 6 months of 1 article a month and just the core box/book while another one gets the full treatment. The first game would have the companion of Lord of the Rings.
Games to rotate would be (in whatever order)
-Warhammer (Prob Blood Bowl first)
Warmaster
Man O War
Mordenhiem
Warhammer Quest
Blood Bowl

-40k (prob space hulk first)
Epic
BFG
Necromunda
Space Hulk
Inquisitor

Other
Battle of Five Armies
Lord of the Rings

All the development and testing would be done by the 'Fanatics' if a staggered release was desired you could still have it all out in 3-4 months.

Splitting everything into rule book + counters in one box and then buying from the model range for the rest pushes up sales a bit (imagine buying Space Hulk).

Nothing like making use of the back catelogue.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread ... but we were talking about Epic prices ... and the price of Epic bases is On Topic IMO ... but thanks for the reminder 4tm ...  ?I've posted so much sometimes I get confused at my age ! :D ?But IMO G/W has put Epic in a position to slowly fade away ... out to pasture. ?Like Man O' War ... Epic is on it's way out ... ?:( ?IMO ?:down:  Epic will be a core game about the time aliens land on the White House lawn or I start dating Super models ... :alien:  :devil:

As long as G/W releases models and/or rules - it's alive and as long as we here keep posting, playing, modeling, etc., it's alive. ?And we'll keep it that way. However with DRM rising and Epic falling ... Epicomms may become DRMcomms or 6mmcomms ! :D ?DRM's rules (when they are released) may be better than E:A, Dirtside, etc. ... A whole new paradigm may be born ...  :;):
