If anyone lives on the North East side of London, there is an impressive auction listed atm:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BOX-OF-....iewItem
Its possibly a huge gamble, but thats often what garners the greatest rewards on ebay...
If it wasnt a 6+ hour drive there from where I live I would go myself

Holy cow, that could be a magnificant deal. Too bad London is about a 6 hour flight for me, never mind driving.

Now that is worth a bid! I cant go too high, but I can collect if people want to negotiate with me!

Im checking some details currently, but I may have to compete with you on that one CS, although I suspect we both might get blown out of the water by some of the power spenders out there.
Grouping together may be an idea, but its so random it might be very hard to split up. Possibly easiest just to bid what you can, taking all the risk yourself, then offload the stuff you dont need to others... but then maybe Im just greedy

well if it is won by someone on this group I would like to buy some depending on the models. I cant bid as I am away so I couldnt join in to secure the prize as it were.
Good luck on it!

I would drop the seller a question if you want it shipped. Both UPS and FedEx will handle a box that size that should be <75 pounds and will pick it up. International shipping should run 250-300 USD as a rough guess.
As long as you are paying for the shipping, I don't know why there would be an objection, unless they just REALLY don't want to pack it.

Anyway, RB, go for it. To be honest, there is nothing specific that I am looking for, but more is always good, and if the winner doesnt want anything, think of me (particularly if there are Tyranid and/or Chaos bits going!).
And I agree that trying to combine may be difficult. Lets just let this one go to fate, and sort any if the winner has spares later.
Good luck.

Hi C/S
Where is Maldon??
I'm off to see if the suspension in my car can cope with that much lead!!
I think the earlier comments are sensible. Without a full list of what's there it would be difficult to do a formal sharing agreement of splitting costs. Better for one person to buy the lot and then post up what they don't want.
Cheers
James

I just bought a similar sized shipment from the UK and shipping to Canada with insurance worked out to roughly 120 GBP.

Try a 24 hour flight!!!
I did seriously work out how to DRIVE to UK from Australia once, using a ferry from Darwin to Singapore, then drive up through SE Asia, put the car on the Trans-Siberian railway, then from Moscow to London its cake (and Ive done that before anyway!). Estimated time was 2 weeks.
But enough of my rambling, needless to say I cant pick up, but Im happy to contribute for some Nids! ?

Hi!
The seller has now noted he is willing to ship it for 22 pounds.
So its pretty open for bidding now.

Yup, Im in. To be honest, his unwillingness to post it was one of the few things likely to keep the price down (well, along with the total randomness of contents), so that may have stuffed that aspect
Oh well, alea iacta est...
