Help a newcomer here - was a remake of this model ever made for E40k?
I often find that the E40k models are very hard to come by compared to the older versions. Guess it's a matter of sales really.

There probably wasn't a remake of the Banelord for E40k, since GW stopped making the Beetleback before the demise of SM2. Also, keep in mind that not as many minis were produced for E40K as SM1/2.

According to PG, there was a sculpt that was never released for a new-style Banelord.

Yes, there was a sculpt for a new 'MkIII' Chaos Warlord that was very Banelord-esque; the old Epic Magazine 7 has it on the cover and inside cover, painted by Agis Neugebauer- was this actually released for any lenmgth of time?

Not that I'm aware of, but then again I'm pretty sure some things get released in the UK, but not in the US.

unfortunately it wasnt released, and I have no idea if it will ever be released based on whats happened in SG so far
At the time UK Mail Order were apparently selling kits but I didnt go for them though it would have been interesting what I would have been sent
