OK, I just do not get it...

Can you say bid fever?

I just do not get it. Look at the bidder listing. These guys are nuts.

:O

... I just do *not* get ebay some days.

I actually just had someone pay me $63.00 USD for a *pair* of logo dice for Battletech... and $53.00 for a single RAFM starship for the Traveller RPG.

I think I've cleared almost $2K on my traveller figs in the last 4 months...

... and one guess what I've ended up buying with some of the proceeds.  :p

Are these people actually bidding on only what's in the picture? They are insane!

A thought just occurs to me...

I wonder if they thought they were bidding on a 40K scale army?

If they thought thats what they were bidding on the price would actually make more sense.

Someone could be in for a very, very rude shock when they get the package.

I have often wondered similar things when seeing some of the prices.

Try this as a two parter, cut and paste:

http://cgi.ebay.com/WARHAMM....iewItem

The url seems to get mangled by the board's posing system.

Orde.

Just received a nice email from a *VERY* panicked Father. Seems his young Son wanted a WH40k Marine army and the Father did not know there were two scales. ?:O ?

So the winner of Auction #5224215108 did not know what Epic was. ?:o

I sent him some links and suggested he needed to contact the seller real soon.

Well, that explains why 1 person bid so much, but how about all the others? Surely not that many bidders didn't realize it was for epic and not 40k.  ???

My money was on one person not knowing and one shill bidder. The third person was a nice man helping out his son without knowing what is up.

If you look, there is a bid exchange going on betwen two bidders. Then the last bid by the winner.

Sad.

I did notice that. I hope the father, who didn't really know what he was bidding on, can get out of being the winning bidder. I feel bad for him.
