Hi Guys! I am looking for the mini Greater Daemons for Epic, not the large ones that went on the slotta base, but the small ones that went on a 20mm square infantry base.  I believe they were released prior to the ones we all know now.  Anyway, I am looking for all of them, so even if you only have one, please sell it to me.  It is one of the last ones I am looking for! Thanks!

I think you are talking about some of the old Chaos Familiars, that's what we use for Greater Daemons. You can see them on the Epicollector site. I don't think G/W ever called them Greater Daemons but they are just smaller versions of SM2 models and in different positions. And were released years before.  We thought the SM2 versions were too Big.  I don't see the Familiars in the G/W US listings ... :(

They're not in the paper catalog either.  Every once in a while I see a couple on eBay, though.  Expect to pay a couple bucks a piece if they show up.

I asked Jervis to speak with the sculptors about going back to those old familiar models for scale purposes on the playtest forum.  There was virtually unanimous agreement - almost as much as the Eldar titan design.  Hopefully, that will mean something.

There were 3 Genestrealer Familiars too, we use those for Patriarchs.  There's a pic on this forum on the Genestealer Cult topic.  But we thought the SM2 Greater Daemons and Primarchs were too Big. We use some of the old metal Epic SMs for Primarchs and some Warmaster for Daemon Princes ... all much closer to scale.  I don't know what G/W was thinking, making Epic figs the size of 40K models ?  More Skulduggery !!!

Sorry.

I cant help you with the Greater Daemons. I don't collect Chaos.

However... I did buy some used minis from a line called Inferno awhile back that would make perfect Daemons.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi!

Maksim, those Inferno mini infantry make excellent Necron proxies, how many you got?

Primarch,

I have a whole bunch, but the larger demons from the Inferno line make excellent greater daemons, but...

I don't play chaos.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi!

Legion4, Global Games, makers of Legions of Steel and Planestorm went out of business some time ago, so no functional website exists. There may be some pictures somewhere, but you may need to search hard.

Maksim, excuse my denseness, do you have lots of the 6mm skeletons for Inferno or the larger models?

Primarch,

I have about one pack of everything so I don't have more than one pack of the mini-skeletons.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
