OK, I want to know what you would rather have:

If you were going to buy some unpainted Epic Troops, and complete sprues were not available, how would you rather buy them:

a) Still on the sprue (but incomplete sprues)
b) Loose piles of troops
c) Based but unpainted
d) Based and primed

I'd take them in preference order as you have given actually- on sprues I have less chance of losing some, loose piles means I can base them as I wish and I have bought some nastily primed bases before that just required more effort in stripping them down.

Cheers

On sprues or loose, that way you can base them as you see fit.

I have to agree with L4. Loose on the spruce or loose. I do not really like getting based troops because usually people base them alot differently than I would

I prefer buying troops unbased and unprimed. Whether they are on the sprue or loose is immaterial. I can keep track of them either way.

I have gotten based troops before and if I really didn't like them, I rebased them. I prefer the rectangular bases for line troops and squares for support and heavy weapons.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

P.S.
Signius,
How is your resin base project coming along?

Actually, it is going very well. I have made about 100. Different types, shapes, thickness, textures. Some with 6,5,4 and 3 troop slots some without. I have done some preliminary molds and they seem to work, well. I will take some pics and let you all see.  :)

What you want to do is get troops either loose or on the sprue and unpainted, that way you can do whatever you want with them! Simple

Cheers

Thanks for your opinions guys. I was not sure what to do with all the "left overs" I have that are on the sprues. Most are not complete. I will organize then and then sell them off as partial sprues.

What sprues do you have? And where are you going to sell them? eBay or on here?

What you could do is bundle a load together and say that you could get X amount of infantry stands from them, and Y amount of heavy weapons stands etc.. Just a thought.

Cheers

>>What sprues do you have?

I have extras of Chaos, IG, Eldar, and SM.

>>And where are you going to sell them? eBay or on here?

To be honest I have not had a lot of luck here on the board. I have found most of the people here are not interested in what I have. So I just dump on ebay for the most part.

Well, you might just want to list them here, before you go to E-bay.  Signius, dumped a bunch of stuff here, even to me !  :)  Bartertown is another option ... and "it don't cost nuffin' ..."
