I am sorry to hear how awful this person has been. I will go ahead and try to get a refund on my order since it still has not shipped. It sucks that this individual has twisted what should be a cooperative and friendly community.

Was really excited about perturabo and the iron circle, but I do not want to support a toxic person. Does anyone have an alternative they could PM me?

There's an Epic scale Perterarbo on Thingiverse free to download. Even if you don't have a 3d printer yourself you can get it printed at places like Shapeways - they're quite expensive but I use them occasionally.

I don't know of any close proxies for Iron Circle but perhaps Vanguard sell robots you could convert?

I checked them out, some could work, but the head, hammer and shield are not present and I would have to kit bash/make them. I would do this, however I do not have the time, and I am trying to be frugal so shapeways is out.

Haha yeah, I guess I should have been more specific. I do not mind spending money for well made miniatures, however from my previous dealings with shapeways, I was not thrilled about the quality for the price. I think it is something about how even the fine detail looks fuzzy whereas metal and cast resin have distinct edges.

For Shapeways you want to use their Fine Detail Plastic material and avoid the much cheaper material option they sell some miniatures in that has a grainy texture like sandpaper.

Otherwise try asking around others in your gaming community to see if you can find someone with a 3d printer who would print Perterabo for you. It's only one infantry model so the cost would be negligible.

Yeah that is rather a dick move. Given the quality of his recasts is less than the originals and he's got a bad reputation I don't think he'll have much impact on Vanguard.

That's still not the best position to be in. Not to go over the mess again he's caused vanguard, but a lot of those OOP models are OOP because of him. The thread of him jerking people around with 'missing' items as well was posted above. You're still supporting him financially by buying those OOP recasts. He's been blacklisted from almost every corner of the community, but continued financial support is keeping him around plugging his wares on unsuspecting or uncaring people. We can keep blocking his facebook accounts from groups but if people stopped buying from him, then he'd not have any reason to keep navigating around blocks.

Damnit, now I’ll have to paint some of the models I bought from Vanguard just because I want to and not because there’s an urgent need. You choose: a skinner heavy lander for my Bad Moonz or a couple of spitefires for my IG?

One of our group sold some models to him, MR launched a paypal dispute that they had not arrived and then tried to sell the same models on this forum
