I dunno much about spray paints, but is the army painter some sort of standard size? could you just swap in a nozzle from a pack of different spray nozzles from an art/graphics store?

Why white spirit? I don't think that will do anything for acrylic paint will it?

FWIW the same thing happened to me with a nearly full can of black. Very annoying. I guess I have a vested interest in seeing you succeed :)

Good to know. I had a gw one with the same problem once - nothing like the same response (admittedly from the store not the head office.)
