Yeah the same source that has been flooding the market with recasts for the past few months.

At least they are quality recasts.

Yeah I snagged a FW flyer from them and its indistinguishable from my other direct purchases, provided they are recasts.

You still don't know that. What, in terms of the physical minis, marks them as recasts?

(i'm not saying they're not recasts, but id like to hear a reason other than 'they sell a lot')

I picked up one of the early lots and the tau hammerheads etc.. have extra mold lines.
Also in the current case the resin color is not the color i would expect forge world casts from that time to have.
Most of the tau from that time period used the same filler.

Not saying the casts are bad far from it, they are fantastic, but I know some people are very particular about that sort of thing so I am just throwing it out there.

Additionally I could be completely wrong.....

Also they are selling several AI models--- and yet none come with the special AI bases. Instead, they come with Epic-style clear flying bases.

I have bought from this guy and know from the quality of the resin (yes it's cream but not the ivory my legit FW Tau are made from), the amount of mould flash, and the suspicious amount of minis this guy has. Other within his feedback have mentioned the potential for recasts.

I have no issue with recasts but he's selling them as originals which is bumping the prices up.
