Hello,

A user of this board sent me a PM on Warseer, after seeing on my shoddy blog that I had one of these Gargants (but did not love it), and suggested that there were people here who would be interested in it. My resin gargant is very similar to this one currently for sale on ebay.

There are some superficial differences. The metal weapons have been stuck on different sides on mine, plus the belly gun has snapped off (though this should be an easy repair). The detail on the body is slightly different too.

After reading some posts on this board I discover that the ebay seller of the above gargant is not a popular sort of guy, and I would prefer to arrange a private trade/sale to a genuine collector than to list the item on ebay and see it go to an unscrupulous trader.

The main reasons I am looking to trade the gargant are that I have other metal/plastic gargants that I prefer, and would like to raise some money to buy some of the new GW paints. I'm hoping for either paypal cash, or, preferably, a straight trade for some of the new GW paints. Note that I live in the UK, and the gargant, when packed in a sturdy plastic pot, weighs around 250g. This makes recorded postage about £3 within the UK and about £5 for non-recorded postage to the US.

I'm not sure what a fair price for one of these gargants is. The above seller is asking for £50, but I understand that he generally charges well over the odds. The PM that I received on Warseer linked to a thread on here where a resin body garagant sold for £41 IIRC as part of a lot with two metal gargants. Assuming that the resin gargant is rarer than the metal, and so worth more, that suggests a rough value of £15-20 for the resin gargant. Does that sound reasonable? That would be 6-9 pots of the new GW paints...

Pics of said gargant from different angles and of the damage would help people determine the value of your gargant better. But it is a sort of collectors item for the resin body.

I have finally added a couple of photos of this gargant to the Internet, which can be found here: http://misfratz.wordpress.com/2012/05/28/for-sale/

that price is fair, and that gargant is from a french company that had rights to produce them for a short time i believe. you shouldn't have any issue selling it ;)
