It's not mine, I wish it was, but if anyone that does their own casting or whatnot wanted one on the sprue, here's your chance. It's gonna go out of my price range really quick (or so I assume) but hopefully one of you fine fellows here may get ahold of it! They've been going for $50-60 most of the time, but like everything on ebay there are occasional spikes in price. I don't recall seeing any for a bargain price (below, say, $40) in at least a couple of years. |

I had some experience with someone that was making en masse counterfit CBT minis, unseen and not, when something rather rare shows up using the same picture twice in such a short time, I always get cautious. |

long story short. Some guy started casting his own unseen battletech minis, nothing too big, it happens all the time. no different from casting OOP titan parts, or ols Space Fleet stuff. He started casting current releases, though. we tried alerting FASA (who at the time was in charge of that stuff) but they couldn't really do anything, so i made the coment 'someone should just c4 his servers, get this over with.' With the urging of a mod on the website who butted heads with me, he called the FBI and placed me as a potential domestic terrorist and got a little visit from 2 FBI agents. fortunately, he was a jackass to the FBI and they didn't take it too seriously, they realized he just wanted revenge against someone that said mean things about him on the internets. Still, i have a FBI record because of that son of a bitch, and am lucky i'm not red flagged at the airports because of it. |

Yeah. On the bright side i reported him to Harmony Gold a year later, they sued every last dollar he had (despite his quoting of the bible to get out of it, and his wife leaving with much of his money) and no one has heard from him since. I hope he got what was coming to him... |
