What was the difference between the Command Leman Russ and the other Leman russ tanks of the same era? Was it purely that it the command tank had a flag on the turret? |

Yup, pretty much. I don't have any of the plain Mk2(?) Leman Rus from that TL era but the Command version I have looks pretty much the same as the ones I remember. |

Yep, G/W really "dropped the ball" on the L/Russ Rec Veh ... they should have sold those like the other Russes ...  Of course they never should have closed the Archives either !

The L/R Rec Veh was an "old Games Day only model" ... it was never "officially" released ! So it was/is very rare ... Even the Archives didn't have it. The Archives did have the Eldar X-vehicles/Flyers, Exodites, Dropship and a few others "never advertised or "Officially" released pieces ... I don't know why ?

No, actually they released the Recovery vehicle in blisters back in the SM2 days. ?I find it kinda weird that they are listed as rare and fetch such high prices. ?I picked up 2 blisters of them in a store runout when Epic went bust the first time. ?They were crap value at the time so I imagine they didn't sell too well. It'll probably make some of you shudder, but I ended up cutting the crane off the back of the turret on 3 of them to use them as standard Rus's. |
