We've appealed Terrence to Ebay once before, they didn't suspend him, possibly because they don't understand the nature of the scam.

He's since made all his feedback etc private, maybe this can change their mind.

Well now I was technically proposing a real auction, hence the inclusion in the auction of a crappy picture rather than just thin air. ?I wasn't being terribly serious but it doesn't fall foul of any rules I know of (not that I know them inside out).

To answer another question GW might have the power to do something about this. ?I recall that they were able to stop people selling copies of the SG rules that they had downloaded from the SG website. ?Those auctions might have been illegal rather than dishonest, hence GW had more power, but it could work. ?

Anyway, I sent of an email to eBay telling them about it. ?We'll see what happens.

I don't have Tim Huckeberries email to hand and the only sites I can access are 'fast' ones like this. You can get it from the GW forums, could someone drop him a line (or even just start a topic on the GW 40k forum).

I notice the specific auction TRC linked to has been cancelled. ?Was it just the ones going for 1p that were cancelled or did eBay remove the lot?

EDIT - the Vulture one has gone too.  Looks like eBay pulled the plug on poor Mr Stephens  :cool:

Entertainingly enough, if you search for his name on the 'find a member' search then check... He has no items up for auction any more. Makes you wonder just what happened to him doesn't it?

I kind of like the idea he was sued and lost more money then he made of the auctions.  :p

Course that is my thinking, hit them where they really feel it, in the bank account.
