I'm also after another battery of Goliaths, in fact I have my eye on 6 at the moment on UK eBay.. Those super heavy guns are the best thing for destroying, well just about everything! ?:D

Agreed. That's why I need more, especially since my nephew pays particular attention in destroying them ASAP.  :D

20 Squat infantry sprues?  You jest!

No, actually I dont.  One old SM1 era 10 sprue box, 98% complete; one 5 sprue box complete, and another 5 sprue box still shrink wrapped.  :D   Also came with 3 Goliaths (one NIB), Colossus and Cyclops (both NIB), pair of Overlords, 10 Gyros and a Leviathan.  And a bunch of metal Titans, some old Ork bits, and 2 odd looking plastic cathedrals on legs.  I got a little carried away with a local sale.......

I must already have about 40 full sprues of the little guys... but I really like the minis.

zap - contact me and maybe we can deal. Thanks.

Neal the same thing happened to me with orks. I always fiind a way to justify it though...  like I might want to field 100 buggies one day :)

Wow! That's quite the pile of miniatures! The 'plastic cathedrals with legs' do you mean Imperator Titans or something else entirely? I'd love to see photos of these things either way! The Imperator really does look like a big cathedral with guns on legs.

Heh.  You're right.  One day I might want to field 3 great gargants, 4 gargants, 3 steam gargants and 4 supastompas.

No, really.  :80:  I might...

Started out as a Squat army purchase...I already had a Guild Brotherhood I got off Ebay so I might as well buy the rest  :)
Prices were about normal Ebay, but it was local and a lot was still NIB.  Then just a couple of titans.  Other people bought most of his rather large Ork haul, the rest of the Squats (I only grabbed about half of his metal) and the rules and terrain.  As leftovers he had some odd orc stuff, a Banelord, 4 messy and blue tac'd together Reavers, and 2 beat up Mk2 Warlords.  They were the bargain  :D   Ended up being the sort of transaction your wife notices though

Oops. That's why I often have things shipped to work, instead of home. I can make stealthy purchases that way since it's easier to get things into the house without the wife knowing.   :D

I get mine shipped to my parents so that the other half doesn't notice!  Then again it's easier anyway as someone is already there for recorded delivery.

Zap that was a wonderful haul congrats.  Expect the hit on the bank balance would be as noticeable as the models to the missus!

Now that is a good idea!  My girlfriend alsways has this despairing look of "more crap you dont need" every time another badly wrapped parcel appears at the door.  Mind you given the size of our flat, sometimes I wish I could kerb the desire too  :/

I found that a bed with a hollow base is an excellent investment especially when the spare room and wardrobe tops are already full...  :D

I'm so thankful I have plenty of storage, and a boss that doesn't mind if I ship personal suff to where I work.

EDIT: We certainly have done a good job of hijacking Neal's thread.  :D

It was here to be hijacked.  I pretty much knew that from the start.
