On the work bench - an E40K Warlord Mk.III is 60% complete, a piece of terrain made from an X-wing Engin Nacelle - done; and a little work on my ThunderBrick Battlewagons (TBBWs) ...  :D

Nice Wolves.  I like the colors used for the camo.

Yesterday I took advantage of the nice weather to do some primering. I had to do a little touch up work on a Cyclops and a Leviathan which had a few spots that were a little thin on the primer. Also I used my newly bought can of Ultramarine Blue spray paint to prime 20 Devastator stands, 4 Assaults, 4 Terminators, 1 Chaplain, 1 Commander, 6 Whirlwinds and 5 Land Speeders.

Here's what's been *keeping* me from painting anything the last coulple weeks (that and playing OC for a student FTX).

Went from this:

To this:

Ending with this:

I've got some minor finishing up work to do, but for the most part it's done.  I suppose I could've hired somebody, but the fact that I posses both X and  Y chromosomes I needed to do it myself.

Sgt Crunch, you stained your dog the same color as the woodwork...  What a cruel man to subject his animals to the color coordination of his house.

Are you going to repaint the dog to match the linoleum now? :p

Nice ship BH - I like it :) :)

As for me:
I got rhythm,
I got music,
I got gretchin, who could ask for anything more.....

Painted grots, actually. A bit of a rarity for me, but these were very decently painted so I'm just adding a wash and changing the base colour to match mine horde.

Here's a before and after shot.
Good job the addition of static grass is a dead giveaway as to which is which (hint - I do not have a lawnmower in 6mm scale).
The other difference (besides base colour) is the flesh wash on grots.

I lik'm ! I like to mix flocks, static grass, small RR ballast, etc. to cover my Titan bases, etc., too.  Makes a big difference ascetically. I just did the base for my Hybrid Reaver/Warlord Vandal class Titan. And working on the base for my I-Titan Mk.L4(!).  I got the idea to use a CD as a base from the crew here ! :D

I was going to, but he refuses to sit still long enough to get the pattern right!  :alien:
