There were plastic cruisers for imperial and chaos fleets. Those came on two different sprues each, one with the hulls and the other with weapons. As far as I know those were the only plastic pieces ever made for BFG. As for availability, they are still sold in the online store, under the names respectively of "Imperial Cruisers" and "Chaos Cruisers". |

The weapon sprues are not available seperately (under normal conditions) in keeping with the ridiculous GW policy of not supplying bits for the non-core games. However, at one time, there was a Vengeance upgrade kit. This has now been discontinued, as far as I know, but the Vengeance is the Light Cruiser available for both Imperial and Chaos fleets. It came with basics weapons fit, but there were two variants for Imperial fleets and another two for Chaos fleets. There used to be an upgrade pack consisting of (I think) two weapons sprues to let you build these variants. |

And working backwards from the parts code, here too. This is weird; why doesn't the US site say they're plastic? Even my whopping $40 hardbound catalog doesn't indicate this. |

Picked them up today, and the sprues are surprisingly rich in detail. |
