Hi all,
I don't know about you guys out there, but I've started my Christmas break - all 2 1/2 days of it  :(  :p
Anyway - point is, I'm trying to complete a few models over these days - 5, or to be specific: 1 conversion, 4 scratchbuilds :p  Blind ambition.  :confuse:
Have to admit that the conversion and 2 scratches were almost entirely assembled, so I'm only starting from the undercoat. The other two will be started literally from scratch.

Anyone else doing a holiday job?

I'm cutrrently putting together a Syntha team for Urban War.  Doubt I'll get 'em painted, but hopefully I'll get 'em stuck together.

Plus I might do some more to my slowly-progressing Epic Iron Warriors...

I've restarted work on a model of a 44' Coast Guard lifeboat. My father was the commander on one for over 20 years. The job requires quite a bit of conversion, since the kit is the US version and my father served on the Canadian version. Many differences, some obvious to the untrained eye, some not so. I'm not building for the untrained eye, however, so I need to do a large amount of work to get it right.

I also want to do a church + graveyard for my 15mm undead army.

I'm hoping to have my first 20-stand Death Korps Infantry Company painted and based in the next few days (I've done 5 bases, 3 Thudds, 3 Rapiers & 6 Hellhounds so far).

Took a weeks worth of leave for Christmas that started Thursday night.  So far I've gotten my six CH tanks cleaned up, 3 primed, primer drying on the other three.  Made three bases and a mold box for them, plan to pour the silicone today.  Finally got around to gap filling on the Warlord Hill Giant I've had assembled since last December and putting some textured paste on his base.    Doubt I'll paint him until next month.  Other things I plan on finishing are:

1.  Finish painting the CH tanks
2.  Clean, prime and paint my Andrayad Infantry and Hubries
3.  Finish painting a handfull of CAV minis that are mostly painted
4.  Revamp some homebrew starship combat rules I've had on the back burner since August/September
5.  Clean, prep and least get one coat of color on some resin terrain that's sitting under the tree right now

Kind of ambitious, but I think I can put a dent in that.

Wow, the ***** sound great!
Which reminds me, I'm painting a 1/48th Scale Demifury (?!); a pair of Andrayad Vesta gunships (no, don't rush to buy these, they exist only in the murky Vanvlakian region of Andrayad space); a spot of scenery for 6mm stuff; and a rather ambitious ***** - no, it's different from what Warmaster is painting  :p

Should still be working on thesis, BUT - so far today I've made 9 movement trays from plasti-card for WFB/WAB army, stuck together 8 cav for the same, and am about to take a look at sticking 4 OOP warhounds together.... :)

Got the mold poured today, got the CH tanks primed and ready to paint, two-fifths of the Hubries have had mold lines cleaned.  Tomorrow should be able to pour some resin and paint some tanks.

My office is closed Tuesday and I'm taking Wednesday off. I hope to finish priming all of my Squat plastics, which I'm guessing is about 75 stands total.

Umm, kinda fell of the tracks.  I've been playing video games.  Now I have enough resin buildings to easily fill a 4x4 table that need work.  Only progress I've made is that half the Hubries have been cleaned up.
