Hi all, Just looking for recommendations regards where to purchase 40k size scenery. I've seen the void stuff and that looks good. Anyone else got any ones they use? UK based would be preferable but I'm open to suggestions! Cheers |

Seriously, 40K scenery can be produced very easily, cheaply and quickly if you're not too fussy. Cat food bowls - overturn and paint grey - bunker! For more detail, add a plasticard door, a couple of transfers, and some battle damage - and scuff the paint a bit. Windscreen wipers - clean and remover rubber and metal backing strip - communications arrays! For more detail, paint in colour of choice and drybrush, add transfers, base on a scenic base (i.e. a bit of hardboard with flock and sand). Papier-mache-like packaging materials which has replaced foam due to higher recyclability - overturn - instant Ork building! For more detail add paint (but I hoinestly think their colour is perfect!) or just orky dags and graffiti, flagpoles, and cut out doors and windows. Place guns at windows. Building site scrap cylindrical stone/concrete/marble cores (offcuts from holes drilled in floors) - just place them on the table and - instant ancient ruins! Do NOT add paint - you cannot (well, I cannot, at least) improve on real stone. A spot of flock as mossy stuff, or graffiti, might brighten them up. ![]() |

And I only ever built one of these bunkers - and promptly gave it to the local agent for their 40K store battles! Not taking any chances.... ![]() |
