Hi all,
Monday has sadly developed into a loads-of-work-day for me  :(  so I jumped the gun and started off today.
So far:
- started basing the blue dwarf
- started cleaning up his second hand brothers (all 19 of them)
- worked on my second and last Gothicomp model.
Next - the Andrayads! :D

Except for the BFG ship, of course, which can only go in the Gothicomp thread

Pic no. 1, as requested - Dwarfs to the right, Andrayads all over the place, and a spot of censorship where the Gothicomp entry lies. ?:p

The Dwarfs are Ironbreakers, and are still wearing their previous owner's coloures here.

More pics as the day - a very hot and humid one - proceeds.
Here's a bits box - one of my largest pair. I was looking for a bit for the Epic Titan competition into which I strayed  :p

Something you've not seen yet - the great storage area where the troops live before they're painted - and where they're stored after painting too, if they're not living in the showcase.

End of day 1: things went a bit awry. Prepared lunch, got distracted by the SG competition titan, fell asleep; felt guilty at not doing any PhD, so I read a couple of papers and skimmed thtrough a handful of chapters of a book. Then took the wife for a swim.
And prepared supper.

Sigh.

but at least, the Titan is assembled, and the BFG ship and the dwarfs are undercoated - which means I have a pile of 19 white dwarfs.  :p
A solitary Land Train has meanwhile wormed its way into the July project day.

They just had to show Patton on tv today....  :p

But:
13 Andrayad stands assembled and undercoated.
5 Dwarfs painted blue.
The BFG ship has it's base coat done.
3 Land Trains and 6 wagons get their funnels and gun barrels drilled.
And one Land Ironclad - er, sorry, Land Train and one Blue Dwarf completed.
:D

Here's my Andy troops (13 stands undercoated and assembled - not in that order! - today); besides them are 5 blue base-coated dwarfs.

And the Rialto, my first Venetian (no, I hadn't forgotten them  :p  )land Ironclad - the flagpole can be removed, so the LI can be used as a Land train by Squats as well.
A bit drab, but that's how i like my steam engines.

:D

Love that Dwarf.

He looks very much like a living statue!

As for the "Land Ironclad", I have to agree, that look just fits!

Of course, I prefer my paint scemes a little on the simple side.
I not a fan of those "busy" looking units with every detail indiv. painted.
