Nice stuff, That is the new GZG 15mm tanks? Please tell me the DLD vehicle is the 28mm version, if not something is out of wack scale wise between GZG and DLD is they are both 15mm. The Ghost in the Shell tank looks awesome for that scale. I would think the Vulture battlemech would appear to skinny for that scale. Do many things indicate it's really 6mm. The DP9 walker is sweet. I look forward to seeing these primed. I was really impressed with the new GZG grav tanks and may get some of those. "You you an't in the grav corp you ain't S$%&!" ![]() Thanks for the pictures. |

Thanks, yes the metalic vehicles are the new GZG stuff. >>Please tell me the DLD vehicle is the 28mm version, >>if not something is out of wack scale wise between >>GZG and DLD is they are both 15mm. No they are all 15mm. First, look at the shot with the two man tankettes, the resen is DLD and the metal is GZG. They are both about the same size. True, Jon from GZG tends to make his vehicles small and his troops big. The troops he makes are really closer to 18mm then 15mm but that is another discussion. Lastly the APC is suppost to be a large beast. I think he was watching too many Marine landing vids when he made the APC. Scale size is closer to the US Marine AAV-7A1 then to a IFV. The GZG APCs (small ones) claim to hold six to eight troops. I do not see how. The DLD one (Giant) claims to hold eight to ten troops. Looks like it to me. >>The Ghost in the Shell tank looks awesome for that scale. Yep, some toys were just ment to be on the wargame table, this wqs one of them. >>I would think the Vulture battlemech would appear to >>skinny for that scale. To many things indicate it's >>really 6mm. It is skinny, true, but the funny thing is, it is not 6mm. This one is their Museum Scale versions. I do not know if they gave an exact scale, but it is almost twice the size of the original. So it is at least 10mm if not 12mm scale. I found a photo of another of the Museum scale mechs (Mad Cat) next to the original scale for you to see below: >>I look forward to seeing these primed. Yep that is my next phase. Then on to painting. I will get things done this year! dafrca |
