I learned some cool modelling techniques at the ZOMBIE TOWN MASSACRE III (23 October 2004) game: --- 1. TAR ROOFS for EPIC Buildings: Tissue with watered-down wood glue makes an awesome roof topper. --- 2. SPRITZING UP AT-1 Hard-Foam Buildings: Plasticard brick walls and tile look good in ANY scale. --- 3. PORTABLE CITYSCAPE Base: Vinyl AKA Nagahyde makes an awesome protable city base... much more portable than my current hardboard set-up. --- 4. CHEAP "EASY-TO-DO" RUBBLE (That Rolls!): Fleckstone is awesome for making rubble. It also clings to the Nagahyde surface so that the vinyl can still be rolled. City rubble and a rollable portable surface! Awesome! --- 5. CITY BLOCKS ON THE CHEAP: Taping off squares on the vinyl roll and then spraypainting them gray is enough to give the suggestion of city blocks. Spraying fleckstone over the "block" areas makes the city look unkept with rubble. --- 6. I'M MOTIVATED & INSPIRED: I want to try out some of these techniques with an Epic city board. I also want to try out some of the techniques with plasticard and glue-tissue with the hard-foam buildings that came with Adeptus Titanicus. --- Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |
