I was just fidddeling through my bits box when I noticed a disproportionate ammount of spare Imperial Launch Bays. What to do, what to do...
An hour of so later this little ship emerged from the docks. It's a dedicated carrier Light Cruiser consisting of 6 Launch bays and a single turret for defensive purposes. It's primary duty will be to escort Merchant vessels but in times of need it may be pressed into service as a strike carrier inthe Imperial Navy.
The model still needs a prow. I was thinking of doing one similar to the Defence Monitor.

Nice model indeed! I like the model. The problem is that from a gaming balance POV it will never be accepted since it provides the IN with a cheap and massive carrier, but hey, as if that mattered!  Kudos to you for a very good mocel man

I used the prow from the Defence Monitor. For the engines I used 3 plastic beads and two treads from a tank kit. (I use a lot od these as they are a great way of adding a mechanical texture to something. I also stuck on some kind of a gn... Possibly part of the defence turrets from a Warmonger Titan though I can't really remember...
