I was wondering if anybody knows where to get the "real" epic trees -like the ones Carl has on his dropship page and the ones on the all the original epic terrain from the 90ies. I have a few I bought in a hobby railroad shop in the mid-90ies but today nobody seems to know what I'm talking about.  I tried to make some trees of my own but it is just too labourous... Just wondering if it was possible to order them online somewhere? Cheers!

For my Research station project I needed a load of trees as I decided to give it an arctic pine forest theme- I found a great model shop which sells a massive seclection of useful bits & bobs, including small modelling trees- In particular pines, at 25p each which is a bargain compared to most prices.. I think they were made by "R&T Models" -might be worth doing a websearch for that... I'll post pics etc when I get the net back at home...

Woodland Scenics make some and G/W US use to sell them too ... IIRC ?

Those trees are available in my local model shop (or were in the past year) next time I am there I will ask for the supplier (but don't expect this to happen anytime soon). |
