Post subject:  Favourite armysize and rules for 15mm warhammer 40k
Been inspired to start some 40k in 15mm. Thinking about starting with some small skirmish armies, just to get the painting started.
So many cool minis out there, and prices that wont cost you and arm and a leg.

What rule system for 15mm can you recommend? And have is there stats for 40k units?

I am a big fan of Too fat Lardies Chain of Command myself, but cant find a real scifi/40k conversion of it.

I play Bolt Action with both 28mm and 15mm. Works quite well. Maybe try Gates of Antares as I believe its similar to BA but with a Sci-fi flavor?

andyskinner used CoC with 15mm Quar. I don't know if he changed much rule-wise though, although the setting is sci-fi it's very WWI era flavored.

I've played GoA, it's decent enough and shares many mechanics with BA.

I haven't done an exhaustive search but there's no 40k lists/stats for them. You might be better off with a game with a points system where you can make your own. Off the top of my head:

Shockforce/Warengine
No Limits
Combat Zone
Stargrunt II
FAD (Fast and Dirty)
FUBAR
1-page rules

Beyond the gates of 40K is a BtGoA/40K mashup that you van find on the dakkadakka forum. I started my 15mm project after reading the rules.

I'm not knowledgeable on the best rule systems for 15mm, but please do post pictures of your games. :-)

Plenty of options for the 15mm line, suprised to see not many folks doing a 15mm space wreck project either , great minatures and Kudos to the designer ;)
