Ok, So I'm looking for a base model for a conversion in 28mm model (25mm will work if it's the right size)... Basically I'm looking for a model like Colosus from the X-Men...The conversion should be aprox 8'6" (scale of course) and have the cool scale like skin of the big C-man...I'm not terribly particular about which company although Hero-clicks are a little small and I'm not fond of rubber so the obvious is out... |

Don't give up on 'rubberclix', Death Lynx, I've found out they take acrylics quite well, and it adheres well too, at least unless it is applied on sections which are not too thin. Removing mould lines can be a pain, though. |

I've used one on a Goblin conversion and it didn't turn out too bad...unfortunately the size of the figs is all wrong...It wasn't too much of a problem having a slightly oversized head on a gobbo but This one simple wouldn't get the size right... Ideally I'm looking for a model about the size of a Strigoi, but every GW model that size is hunched and has it's head coming straight forward out of their chest (ogres, rat ogres, strigoi, etc.)... |
