A new thread which will no doubt continue in the Epic tradition of the last four...
Quick link back to the fourth mega-thread:

Hi,
Another thread! Sheesh!
Built up and primed my BFG boxset ships and drybrushed two Imperial ships grey today. Aim is to give Imperial ships a white colour scheme and the Chaos ships purple. Also based and primed some Paladin knights for something different (think they're paladin knights).
I've also just begun to assemble my bitz boxes so that I can organise and tidy them tomorrow (clearing out the old for the new year). I'm aiming to acheive the hobby dream of painting up every mini I own and make them useable in games this year (Never gonna happen, I know, but I can dream). :/
Cheers, Freshmetal.

Hi Tas,
You're welcome!
Centurion is the only game I can think of where combined arms is really essential. E-A is more like WWI & WWII than combined arms.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Nice one L4!
There is nothing better than combining military history with gaming. I frequently use WW1 dogfight setups for Sci-Fi fighter combat games, ww1 and 2 (obviously) and once even did an Epic game based on the battle of Crecy.
Its great to set it up, then at the end, see if anyone can guess the scenario's origins and show them what really happened!

It would depend if the Ork Warlord Saladin-Thrukka decided to go to a place called Hattin!

And the IG would have a holy relic from the Emperor with them to add to their morale rolls !

You're Only missing the Castellan. ?I've got a det. of each. In the "old days" (SM1), robot dets, were called "Maniples" from the Romans. ?I have the plastic Conqueror and Colossus Maniples with my Squats. The metal robots are with my IG & SMs. ?My UMs have a whole Robot Company ! ?Always liked the models. ?What's Sci-fi without robots !?! ? ?What would Asimov say ?! | Hi L4, correct on all counts! Including the SciFi Robots opinion Our tale of x gamers threads are locked to preserve continuity, I think, but I'm managing to mess up my own such thread single-handedly.

No going to party, no getting drunk, no waking up with a beautiful blonde gal next to you in a house you don't recognize... my life is sooo boring
Finished reviewing a game for Abandonia site (www.abandonia.com, if you want to take a look). If you have some old stuff around or would like to help them in reviewing some of the games they have, maybe consider dropping there.
Working on the Callidus a bit. The ponytail is simple now that I got to doing it.
Played computer games a lot... real lot. Some fun.

Right now I am converting and adding 3 ancient and rare GW robots to my 40k marines as gun servitors (scavenger class middle, bottom):
http://www.solegends.com/citle/citle20robots.htm
More ancient and rare old Rogue Trader stuff can be seen in the 'Related' section of this page:
http://www.solegends.com/citrt/index.htm
The robots are 'SFD Giant Robots', below that on the same list are some showing pics from Jimbo's site!
I am keeping my bag of epic conquerors for the moment... one day I will work out what I want to use them as in EA!!

I love the old RT marines ....though those "giant robots" are just... well weird...
I've been finishing a few bits and pieces for BFG. Mainly some terrain in the form of planets and a Space Station.
Cheers!

...And the Space station:
The Hafnia Space Docks also act as a sub sector Navy resupply station. It's massive launch bay facilities are used to supply Imperial Carriers with fresh Fighters and Bombers produced at the nearby Forge World of Skagerak.
Cheers!
