Cool new Tau BFG ship in this one....
******************************************
Welcome to the latest Forge World Newsletter,
Well Games Day Oz is fast approaching http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/gamesdaysyd.htm ?and even though the stock has been shipped so that it gets there in time we can still take reservations until the 20th October. We need to have received them by this date. These will be picked from the stock already there so please refer to the price list (see below) to see if the items are available. Any reservations already placed are fine and we will try and get everything you asked for. To help with your shopping at Games Day Oz we are putting together a pricelist that you can grab off our website. If the item you are after isn't on the pricelist then I'm afraid it's unlikely to be there, however we are offering Free Shipping on anything we don't have with us. Just pay for it on the day, fill in an order form and we'll send it out to you when we get back. The price list should be up early next week.
Games Day Spain is also approaching quite rapidly and will be held on the 9th November. http://www.games-workshop.es/comunidad/ ... index.html ? Forge World will be attending and as usual we are offering our Reservation service. If there is something you really can't live without, then send us an email to forgeworld@games-workshop.co.uk ?with GAMES DAY SPAIN RESERVATION as the subject title and we'll try and get everything you ask for.
November is going to be a busy month for us. For those people in the UK, Forge World will be at the November Open Day held in Warhammer World http://www.games-workshop.com/news/uk/e ... efault.htm in Nottingham. We will also be attending the IPMS Scale Model World show in Telford on the 22nd and 23rd October. We will be taking Reservation Orders for both these shows closer to the events. Another Newsletter will let you know when we start taking them, so please don't send any yet.
I know it is only early October but Christmas is already looming around the corner. If you are going to place a mail order with Forge World for a Christmas present then please be sure to place it well before the following dates. If you want us to ship your order to the USA, Australia or anywhere outside Europe, we have to have received it by December 1st. If we are to ship to an address in Europe we need to have received it by December 8th. If we are shipping to a UK address then we need the order here by December 15th. If you do leave it too late we can still help. Our EXPRESS DELIVERY service can still get your order to you for Christmas as long as you get it to us by December 15th. All of these dates are only a guide at the moment and could change as we get closer to Christmas. I'll keep you all up to date on the Forge World homepage and in future newsletters. While I am talking about EXPRESS DELIVERY there is a small point I need to clear up. We unfortunately are not able to send EXPRESS DELIVERY mail orders to PO boxes or certain military addresses such as BFPO and APO numbers. The poor little UPS men just can't get to some of these places you military folks are at and I have been reliably informed that they are allergic to PO boxes! We can of course still send items to these address' by standard mail.
October sees the release of the Fire Warrior computer game from THQ. You can see more about the game here http://www.firewarrior.com/ To tie in with the release of Fire Warrior, Forge World has a couple of new models being made by Will Hayes. The first is the Tau Orca Drop Ship http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/orca.htm ? This is still work in progress so there is plenty more to do on it. The Orca is approximately the same size as a Space Marine Thunderhawk Gunship as can be seen in one of the pictures, making it one of the biggest models Forge World has made. The Orca will have full interior details and can carry up to 24 Fire Warriors plus up to 6 Battle Suits. We will also be working on seated Tau and crouched Battle Suit conversion parts that can be put into the Orca if you wish.
The second model we have to tie in with Fire Warrior's release is the Emissary Class Starship (light cruiser size) http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/emissary.htm This is a Tau ship for BFG, the first in a different range of ships to those produced by Specialist Games.
Well that's it for another Newsletter, Until next time,
Dean Winson Forge World

Hi!
You may have a long wait on that Legion4, but who knows, they may do them in any order as usual...

No doubt, F/W is a real wild card ! And I think overall G/W has only a general idea of what they are doing, as usual ...

Hi!
At least the possibility of getting something done earlier is heartening, knowing that Tau and Necron will take 3-4 years to get done is a lot worse.

At this point I only have one pack of each of the F/W models/Infantry, including the Manta. I'll round out my forces with the future G/W metal releases, (in the far future) ... Plus there will be other models released like the Skyray AA tank and the Orca ! My Tau & Kroot are very much a long term project !

I recall Jervis talking about Forgeworld doing some Heresy pattern titans for Epic. With the Mars Pattern Warhound and all that doesn't sound way off. BTW wasn't there a rumor at some point about recasting the old Gargants (mk 1,2,3,4 slasha and mekboy) in resin? Or was it just some wishfull thinking of mine

The trend is if F/W does it in 40K scale they will probably do it in Epic scale ... but even that is not always the case so far. ?Who knows what they will do in the future ! ?I'm not sure if they know either ! ? ?Until I have it in my hands, it's all rumor ! ? ?

Hi!
I'd love them to do those old gargants in resin with the multiple weapons, they were great!
