Well I don't use any of those anyway, so it doesn't matter to me. When you say "new" paint pots, it is a new lid? size? what??? Military Green sounds good though! Cheers Chris |

I'm a little saddened to see the blues go away (there were too many anyway, but I had nearly most of them). Though I am very interested in hearing in what the new paint pots are going to be. Any official news from GW or Portent? |

I believe the new paint pots are going to the same base bit- (the hexaganol clear bit), with simple new flip-top bits that just screw on, I havn't seen any pictures or anything yet, but thats what the main rumor was I believe.... |

I heard ages ago on Portent that they wanted new fliptops, but had to wait for the current contract to end. Cheers Chris |

Seems like they are dispensing with the brights and going for a more traditional set. So, the names imply anyway. |

I went to GW tonight and I heard the same thing. Flip Tops, cutting some paints, add new ones. All next month, April... One word......great...... ![]() |

I am most surprised about the Primer. Am I the only one who ises it? I fint it great, and one of the best primers out there. Does this mean that GW will not produce an undercoat? Who makes these decisions? ![]() |

I know no-one who uses the smelly primer... its just a spray of Chaos Black or Skull White for most people I think... |

I think it is a waste of time and resources to keep changing the paint pots. This wuldn't be the first time they axed a color I was fond of. ![]() |

I have had GW paints for years without them drying. Except the metalics. I still have old paints like go fasta red and badmoon yellow. ![]() |

Yeah, old GW paints do not dry up- this is true!! Its the newer ones that do- as they do not come with a flip-top lid, they do not seal properly, which allows air to get in, and thus, dries them out faster... ![]() I have old paints I have been given that are over 10yrs old and are fine, on the other hand have newer ones that have nearly dried in about 6 months! -Hopefully this new paint pot design should prevent this though. ![]() |
