Post subject:  Arbites "Punisher" Strike Cruiser - Paint Scheme?
OK, I converted an Adeptus Arbites Punisher Strike Cruiser, following the instructions given in BFGMag (can't remember the issue), and I've used it in games in its undercoated state. However, I'd quite like to paint it at some point this millenium, but I have no idea what an appropriate paint scheme would be for such a vessel.




I believe the ship is based on the Arbites vessel that appears in Execution Hour, if that helps.

Hi Dysartes,
tough-looking ship. I'd either opt for Arbites colours - but then I'd expect different precincts  on different worlds to have different uniforms - or for something different from the rest of the fleet: for some reason white or blue main colour detailed with black and red (or white and red for the blue scheme) seems to fit - with a gold Aquila somewhere.

Yeap that conversion is based on The punisher.
I made my own take on an Arbites vessel as described in the novel and came up with this

Dark blue or black are my suggestions, I rather like the idea of red & white detailing as well...

Hmm - well, once I've reundercoated it, maybe a midnight blue drybrush, followed by a 50/50 midnight/regal drybrush (lighter pressure) followed by a Regal final drybrush (lightest).

Then see about picking out the details.
