It's 2" long. That's the size of a T-Hawk Mk2. And frankly the detail is less than stunning for the size. |

True ... but again if I were going to use it, I'd add much more detail. Obviously ... But just a thought ... I'm guessing some webfooted mammal and/or goofy primate may make this "idea" obsolete ...

If they make them for all chapters I may model a couple to use as counts as Thunderbolts, so I can field pure marines without any allies. I'll likely try and get hold of some mkII Thunderhawks as a base though (anyone have these spare?) as they're tiny and a better design that the Stormraven IMO (though I might convert one from the best of both):

Yes, with 3 different sizes & 4 types of T/Hawks ... Calling the Mk.1 T/Brick & Mk.2 T/hawk - Stormraven almost makes more sense ... The E40K T/Hawk version - not sure ? The Forge World Thunderhawk should be "the actual Thunderhawk" ... or am I wrong ? BTW ... the last set of aircraft are my own kitbashing ... known as a ThunderDuck ... stat'd as a T/Hawk. But may be stat'd as the Mk.1 & 2 as a Stormraven too ... And thses are the current accepted stats - AV 35 cm armour 4+ CC6+ FF4+, Twin Heavy Bolter AP4+/AA5+, Twin Assault CAnnon AP4+/AT4+, Bloodstrike Missile 75cm AT4+, Skimmer, Planetfall, Transport (1 termie or 2 scout, tac, assault, dev, plus 1 dread) ... ?

In a huge pile of irony, I really think that the original box-Thunderhawk actually makes a very passable Stormraven. Watch the price of these things rise on eBay! |

The ThunderDUKW hull is a Battletech Ciceda Mech + bitz - More "aerodynamic" than the ThunderBrick !!!!!

Its a well known fact that the Emperor grants certain indulgences to his faithful followers regarding the laws of physics... Advantages of god-hood :-) Though still loving the thunder-duck
