Yep ... with The Crucible & 6mm Slammer AFVs coming out it truly is ... Hammer Time !!! They infantry ... I'm using GZG's NAC & Infantry Skimmers ... Jon actually designed those with the Slammer's in mind. These may look familar to you C/C ...

I regonize the sloppy hand writting. I expect the regiment on parade by christmas. Am I being clear soldier! You've been waiting for this sense you started rollign dice as a hobby, you won't let us down. You can place your GZG, or Eureka order, for the infantry now and have them ready for when thier rides arrive.

Yep ... already got my GZG infantry & skimmers, Decals for the AFVs ... Hopefully ... by Christmas, I'll have a Slammer Task Force Combat Ready ... Then I'll be Rolling Hot !!!

There is a Combat Car Battalion with eight Companies of four line platoons each of Combat Cars. Each Platoon has 6 vehicles - 5 Combat Cars and a Command Car. There is a Tank Battalion with four Tank Companies. Each company has a Command Tank and four platoons. Each platoon has four Tanks. There is also an Infantry Battalion. Four companies, each of four platoons, each platoon with four ten man squads. Each platoon has a command element and was also equipped with three jeeps (again ACV's) carrying a mixture of support weapons. Hammer's forces didn't use APC's (although their opponents often did). Instead - 0ther than jeep mounted troops - all infantry ride personal, one-man 'skimmers'. These are single occupant vehicles that like a flying 'wet-bike'. Although skimmers and jeeps are capable of rising from the ground quite a distance, In the combat area they - of course - stay low, like everything else. There is an Artillery Battalion of eighteen self propelled rocket assisted howitzers split into three batteries. Lastly, there is a Replacement Battalion The time period is set during the active, 'mercenary' period for the Slammers: ie before the regiment becomes the standing army of Friesland. CBT CAR Bn = 200 AFVs ; TANK Bn = 68 MBTs ; Infantry Bn = 808 Troopers ; FA Bn = 18 "Hogs" SPFA ... |

Thanks fpr the breakdown L4 While I would believe you if you told me you will do all 300+ vehicles. What is your goal for the Slammers, a mixed task force of say... 1 Tank Company 1 Combat Car Company 1 Inf Company 1 Artillery battery |
