I'm guessing it's about 15mm.

Nah, it assuming they are about 180cm tall. Height's supposed to be at eye level.

And I've found out that GW isn't really running 28mm. They are true 25mm! At least 40k and according to Gaunt's Ghosts. (Gaunt is 2.20 and considered not that tall.)

N scale is 1/160, which is also the Mechwarrior clicks stuff.  That's pretty close if you're looking for scifi infantry.

Well I saw some 1/144 scale Mech Maint. Crews ... But I think they will be too big. Probably the size of IG Ogryn ... :sigh:  Like I need more to paint !

Here is a wonderful chart that is most helpful when looking at cross scale things:

http://theminiaturespage.com/ref/scales.html

And 1/144th scale troops would look larger then IG Ogre when next to 6mm GW stuff.

1/144th is about 11.2mm so almost double in scale size to 6mm.

Yes, I believe you are correct, daf.   And thanks for the chart, I spend a lot of time on TMP too.  It's an excellent site.   :agree:
