Hi all,
elsewhere in an Epic thread I mentioned 2 projects I am embarking on, non doubt doomed to incompletion. One is Titanomachia, and is described elsewhere; the other is Tritonography, a very loose idea for a naval wargame (yes, I too have caught this aquatic bug) featuring all sorts of ships from rafts up to 1945, with all sorts of VSF style weapons included along the way. One major problem is of course how to come up with rules for battling the USS New Jersey with outrigger canoes.... still, that's part of the fun. Scale - 1:300

Ships for this:
a couple of hull halves which will be 'refloated' for the occasion
Bismarck and Tirpitz (old model kits)
Some of the Man O'War ships which can fit in scalewise
American Civil War vessels.

Good grief. This will be messy....

Rules? Don't ask! I will select some existing and highly flexible set.  :vD

Being a fan of MoW, I might go for something similar - incorporating some ideas from Dawn of War too.

using the wings of war/dawn of war movement could be a lot of fun. ive made a star wars game based on WOW/DOW and it works great. i use models from the star wars collectible game. i have diffrent damagedecks for diffrent weapons which giv it a lot of variety.
