Havnt done much in the way of BFG stuff for a while.
But I thought Id see it I could get something built for the Gothicomp.
One thing my fleet was missing was a proppa 'Ulk.
SOme of you might remember the giant MekShip I was working on ages ago.

Well I took a hammer to it! I found it was just too big to use on a regular basis and it had alot of good partz on it that I could loot.

A short while later a new ship was born.

Move over Gork'z BigUn... therez a new badboy in town!

Lots more to do to it before it goes to the paintshop.
Heres hopin I find the time to finish it soon.

Very cool indeed!  I have not gotten around to building my Ork  Hulk yet, now i'm afraid it won't turn out 25% as good.

Sweet, I love the 1st version its huge also reminds me of a empire battleship from starwars, from the rear veiw anyways. The 2nd equally as empressive. I would love to face that in a battle, and indeed the 1st one as well. A ship worthy of destroying in a game. Bit of shame you broke the origonal, also where did you get the boosters from?

I think we have some stiff competiton to beat that.

The origanal model was based on a StarWarz Republic StarDestroyer.. which is why it remindz you of one.
I used the enginez on this new ship, along with some bitz from a GunDam model, plus a few RoboGear bits thrown in also.
I much prefer my hulk to look like it was an astoroid that was purposely made into a ship rather than the more usual naturaly formed type.
Designing it this way makes it fit better with the other Ork ships.

Awesome model - and it will be hugely imposing on the table top! Excellent stuff!

And smashing up an old model to get the bitz - dat's pure Ork, dat iz!

Top stuff, mate!

Regards,
Reaver

I have a vision of either a million grotz carving the face or wild experimental laser beams being used. Or maybe both at the same time!

Added most of the gubbinz now so Ive started work on the rocky texturing.
With the prowl Ive gone for a kinda grumpy mean looking old Ork look.
Its a good likeness of ole Kaptain KroozA himself, and this was by no means by chance. The face was carved over many yearz, it is afterall... some 4km high.
I think its rather fitting that an Ork Warlord would have an effigyof himself on his kommand vessel.
The surface has been textured with deep groovez. I reakon this helps give it a look of aged battle scaring.
The craters depict not only astroid hits but also battle damage from torpz n other such weaponz.
This ship very much fitz with my prefered 'Evy Prowl concept wat with its 2km thick rock prowl

Been workin on my first Rok. Got the basic shape done and all the mayor gubbinz in place.
As you can see its a much more uniform shape compeared to a standard Rok.
Seem to be a logical step for Orkz to make Kroozers from Rokz as you get the best of both... out-standing duriblility and maneuverability.
Im making a pair of these and they will mainly be used with my Hulk with standard Rok statz.
